Grind the Floor + Edges: First we use a diamond grinder or shot blaster to roughen the surface, or remove any previous coating. This creates a better bond between the concrete and epoxy.
Repair Cracks: Then, we fill any cracks or holes with a patching compound and allow it to dry.
Sweep + Clean: Grinding creates a bunch of dust -so we sweep + clean making sure all dirt and dust is gone.
Mix + Apply Epoxy: Mix the epoxy components, and apply it to the floor using a roller.
Add Quartz Sand: While the epoxy is wet, we broadcast the quartz aggregate to the epoxy for a customized finish.
Seal with a Topcoat: After everything has dried. We clean up the extra quartz, and apply a clear topcoat to protect the epoxy and give it a glossy finish.
